Dan and I are really lucky and blessed to find this place to live! We were having a heck of a time trying to find one! Two weeks before our wedding we were thinking we'd just be living out of our cars! Then out of nowhere this cute little basement apartment showed up! We LOVE living in Herriman, in a basement apt! We love the neighborhood, LOVE the ward, neighbors, friends, and all!
When Dan and I were dating, I noticed a little quirk about him...he cares about design...he likes to decorate! He's pretty much not a normal boy!! (J/K SWEETIE!!) At first I was thinking, "Man, do I really want t marry someone who cares so much about how the house looks??" But let's be honest, if that was my one worry, that's saying something!!
Now that we've been trying to make our house a home, I'm actually REALLY happy to have him by my side, and have his expertise in style! The apartment wouldn't look the same or half as good without him!! We are really blessed! Here are some pictures...enjoy! :)

We have a lack of closet/dresser space...so Dan stacks his clothes on the side! (that pile seriously starts from the ground!)
And just for kicks and giggles...I am making my mom's famous Hungarian Goulash!! YUmmmm...If only pictures could pick up smells!! :)
Super cute! When we were first married our front door had a huge window on it too. We took some of that spray on frost stuff and frosted it. Just an idea!

ReplyDelete(as for the pictures, i rotate all of mine before i upload them to blogger. like when they are in the 'my pictures' folder. so they are the right way because blogger doesn't let you rotate them afterwards)
Oh my gosh. that is adorable!! So much better than our first (or second or third... ) apartment. Can you come help me decorate now? And can I just say how much I love that the pictures I took are all over the place? Love it =)
