Easter

I wish I was smart enough to take my camera everywhere I go...but, I'm not, and thus there will be no pictures! :(

We went to Idaho for Easter this year...it was GREAT to see my family.
I love spending time with my mom! We went shopping, watched Dallin run (He won, of course..and was ONE second off of beating the meet's record!), and we got to spend some time with Rachel and Steven helping them set up their new place!
{which is adorable}

Easter traditions at the Farnsworth house stayed alive...Easter baskets, the watching of the TEN COMMANDMENTS

does anyone even know why that movie is shown on Easter? What does it even have to do with Easter?

All I know is that we watch it every year, and chow down on the candy! :)

This is mine and Dan's FIRST Easter together! and I tell ya...

I have the SWEETEST husband in the WORLD...he got me an Easter gift...

yeah, seriously, he's THAT sweet!

and this is what he got:
A foot and a half tall Christus! I LOVE it!!!
He is why we celebrate Easter, and He is why we can have happiness forever!

As much as I LOVE Easter traditions, baskets, candy and presents, I love my Savior more for what He did for me and for all of us.
HAPPY EASTER!

(ps...these are on sale at Seagull book, 60% off! HURRY BEFORE THEIR GONE!}

  1. Linds! So good to see you and dan at church! and asparagus ham roll-ups are so soo easy. Just boil your asparagus, place cresent rolls on a pan and spread dijon mustard on them. Then roll two pieces of asparagus inside two pieces of ham, roll up in cresent roll and bake at 350 for 12 min. We added swiss cheese too and they were even better! Enjoy! :)
