Blog ADD!!!!

So Dan is always thinking he has a severe case of ADD!

He kind of does...haha!

He does typical guy things like forgets to do things his wife asks him to...

or leaves the toilet seat up...

or procrastinates his homework, and if something of more interest comes up, homework gets pushed to the wayside...

If that constitutes as ADD..I think we ALL have it..right??

Well, I'm pretty sure I have ADD as well...

BLOG ADD!

I change my blog every time I get on! There are just too many cute things to do! 

So I'm sorry for all you (3) people who actually come and read my blog, that it is different every time you come upon it!

I'm also sorry for you 3 people that I have been such a SLACKER this summer! We really have done a TON of fun and exciting things, and I have yet to blog about any of them! ugg...sorry!

But...because of the exciting news from the last blog entry that was posted, we have decided that we are now official HOUSE HUNTERS!

We have been diligently saving up for a downpayment, and have done a lot of praying and feel that NOW is the time! 

It scares the pants off of me to think of that much money we'd be in debt of! And having to be responsible and actually pay bills, instead of just remembering one check a month for rent! 

Luckily, we have come across some OUTSTANDING deals! 

Crappy economy leads to low interest rates and LOTS of short sales!

which is sad for a lot of people...but a good thing for us!

We've found 2 that we really like and have put offers on...but the search is not over! Especially since they are both short sales, it could just be our luck that we don't get either one!

...so...who knows what will happen?!?

...we'll just have to wait and see!

HOUSE #1

PROS:

across the street from my school...literally I can WALK to work! (save tons on gas!)

6 BEDROOMS! what?!?! what would we do with all of those rooms!

a movie theater room downstairs...dan's fav!...

newly finished basement

a PERFECT starter home, in a PERFECT neighborhood!

Cheapest we've seen in it's condition!

CONS:

we are only in 3rd posistion of getting it! :( 

the backyard is literally the size of a bathroom stall! (small lot)

the curb appeal isn't amazing..but we can fix that EASY!

HOUSE #2 

PROS:

um...can you say the most beautiful house EVER?? (inside too!!)

awesome neighborhood!

move-in ready

we are in LOVE with this house!

CONS:

in Eagle Mountain...30 min drive to work for me! ugg...

we are only in 2nd position to getting it

backs up to a semi-busy street, but fenced!

just the fact that it's far away! (but close to Utah lake!)

So there you have it! We'd love to be in either home, or continue our search..who knows! Maybe we'll just end up staying in our basement for the next couple years! Whatever happens will be the right thing!
