2011 in Review

I am the world's WORST blogger! 

I keep thinking that when I have kids I'll be better, but who knows if that's really true!

Even so, we did have a GREAT year! Our first full year as a married couple! :) 

Here are some of the highlights...

JANUARY: 

We celebrated my 24th birthday! 

(and now I am 25 and  a quarter of a century old, and it blows my mind!)

FEBRUARY: 

I almost set my apartment on fire, trying to show my hubby how much I love him! :) 

and we took an awesome road trip with Natalie and MJ to St. George & Vegas

MARCH:

We saw JIMMER live! Thanks to Rachel and Pedro! It was a DREAM come true for Dan! :) 

APRIL: 

Little Rachie and Steve-O got hitched! 

We love them! And couldn't imagine life without the two of them in the family!

MAY:

met up with some of my favorite mission friends and went to Amanda's sealing!

It's so fun to see my friends from Spain make good choices in the church and have wonderful lives! :)

JUNE: 

Dan and I BOTH got new jobs!!! Woa, our lives were turned upside DOWN...not really, but at the time it felt like it! I moved from 4th grade to 1st grade and from Terra Linda to Silver Crest Elementary. I was stressed to the max, but now am really enjoying myself! 

Dan moved from being a employment specialist at Strategic Staffing to a human resource technician at the State of Utah. He did it because the state will reimburse him for grad school! He doesn't love the job, but is making the most of it! :) 

Also, Natalie and MJ got married! They are so awesome! WE love spending time with them!

JULY: 

We had our HUGE Farnsworth Family 4th of July party!! This year we took a picture with everyone.

There were over 100 people, but we were still missing about 30! 

What a HUGE family and a HUGE blessing!

AUGUST: 

I started my new job, and at the beginning I HATED IT!  But have grown to love it now! We also had spent an ENTIRE Summer looking for a house with no luck! :(

 SEPTEMBER: 

We wrapped up our last month in our first little apartment! 

We just loved living here, it was cute, quaint, and perfect for us! 

We loved the neighborhood, loved the ward, we will miss it a lot!

OCTOBER: 

We celebrated our first year anniversary together! 

Dan went above and beyond and spoiled me rotten! 

NOVEMBER: 

Went to see BYU football in action,

not the greatest football season, but still fun! 

We also FINALLY went  back to ARIZONA for Thanksgiving and our grandparents 50th anniversary! 

IT was SOOO fun being with all our cousins again!

 DECEMBER: 

IT FINALLY HAPPENED...we got our HOUSE! And we are currently trying very hard to make it our own! 

...and that about sums it up! Not too bad of a year. We're so excited to see what adventures and surprises come our way in 2012!!
