Half way there!

At 20 weeks I...
dirty mirror...sorry!

{feel HUGE, although I know I am actually pretty small for this point during pregnancy}

{am having serious issues with sleep...wake up ALL the time, roll around, have to pee, all the fun stuff!}

{am thirsty ALL the time, but when I drink too much water it makes me sick}

{am ALWAYS hungry...but surprisingly have only gained 7 pounds}

{can feel baby C move around...just little flutters.  I tell Dan it feels like when you go down a steep part on a roller coaster and your tummy jolts around, but not as intense and in one concentrated spot}

{crave this new fruit my friend Liz found. It's called an Asian pear, but a cooler name is a "pearpple" sweet like a pear, crunchy like an apple! :) }

{crave sugar at some times, and salty snacks at others...it really changes EVERY day, my only "constant craving" has been potatoes}

{constantly have a bad taste in my mouth...that's been a whole pregnancy thing}

{am loving that Dan plays the guitar to our little guy every night!}

{started listening to the Book of Mormon in Spanish in the car...you know... just in case baby C is up and listening...}

{my hair is feeling awesome..never been so full!}

{am SO full of love and joy for this little guy to join our family...yet so scared at the same time!}

Tuesday is our anatomy scan, and I am weirdly nervous about it. Praying everything is ok with him.
I'm sick of hearing all these horror stories-is it just me or do when strangers hear that you're pregnant they immediately start to tell you everything that went wrong with their pregnancy?!...not cool!

Above all, we are feeling blessed beyond measure! Half way through this roller coaster we call pregnancy...although I know 20 more weeks is nothing compared to a lifetime of baby C as my son! <3

  1. Okay, so I'm 32 weeks along, and it's so nice to hear that someone else had the bad taste thing! I thought I was losing my mind or something. As for the horror stories, I get those too. Definitely NOT something that I want to hear :(
    I am not sure if you got morning sickness, enough to take Unisom and B6 every night, but I've been taking Unisom almost my whole pregnancy! It helped a lot at first, but now that I'm bigger, and my bladder is being squished more, it doesn't work as well... But it's worth a try! Good luck! And congrats to you and Dan :)
