The Little Beauty!

for the last 4 1/2 months, Dan and I have wanted to pull out every strand of hair stuck on our heads when it came to house hunting! 

NOTHING was working out. 

Our expectations were too high, and budget too low. 

We'd see something, take forever to decide if we wanted it, and then it'd be gone. 

We'd put an offer on a house, wait, wait, wait, and wait some more

(..still waiting...)

We'd put an offer on a house, of course the house being a short sale (the only houses we can afford in this market are short sales), and the bank would want 80k more!

We'd get beat out by other buyers with more money. 

There would be the perfect house with the perfect price tag, that would also come with water damage...

We hated it. 

At one point, we thought we'd live in my in-laws basement forever! 

Luckily that WILL NOT be happening! :)

We really feel like our prayers have been answered.  We had been praying so hard, for so long, that we would just be lead to the right area where we were suppose to be, and that everything would work out! 

I can honestly say, that since we've been under contract, everything has gone so smoothly, and QUICKLY too! We might be in before Christmas! Which I would have never thought could happen!

I originally really wanted to stay in Herriman or Riverton, and was not too excited about this home out in the boondocks of West Jordan.  But when we drove out to this house, it seemed SO right. 

This house is right off backus highway on the very South West edge of West Jordan. (Literally, there is nothing behind it except fields and a mountain!)

It's in a newer neighborhood, with beautiful homes and mountains surrounding it!

We got a GREAT deal! With the house being foreclosed on, and the bank owning it, we got the sucker for a lot less than it's home value!

Can't complain there!!

We are THRILLED to actually be closing right now! It seems surreal!

Although, now we have to actually grow up and pay bills...:(

but we are excited about it and know Heavenly Father has lead us here for a reason!! 

Here's a look at the little beauty!

We are LOVING the porch, paint color, trim, landscaping the owners before us already put in,

it just needs some TLC! :)

Now we just need to PRAY that everything works out during the escrow, and we actually can CLOSE and get into the house! :)
